SuccessStory: Kemira establish one Global HCM solution supporting global business needs
Implementing the full SuccessFactors talent suite to align and unify processes in ONE global HCM solution to support Kemira’s presence in over 30 countries was well prepared, and successfully executed and delivered by GP Strategies.
Kemira HR consists of Global HR and Regional HR. The Global HR team is accountable for developing global processes and policies in co-operation with regional HR. Processes for reward, talent development, recruitment, and other global Human Capital processes are managed by the global HR team. Region and local HR is accountable for implementing the processes, including data management, in their respective regions.
Kemira has been working with SuccessFactors Employee Profile and Goal & Performance Management modules since 2012. Kemira wanted to implement the remaining parts of the SuccessFactors Talent Suite which consists of:
- SuccessFactors Learning
- SuccessFactors Recruitment
- SuccessFactors Compensation
- SuccessFactors Talent Management
Kemira conducted a RFP process and GP Strategies was chosen as implementation partner. Besides being responsible for the implementation of the modules mentioned above, GP Strategies was also asked to optimize and improve the processes from the already implemented modules.
The project has been successfully implemented on time and budget, and has been an important accelerator in helping Kemira to achieve the key project benefits:
- Unified end-to-end HR process based on best practices
- Improved efficiency and clarity
- Access to and re-use of information and knowledge sharing
- Measuring and developing the processes
- Compliance with local and global regulations, management systems, etc.
Since SuccessFactors already was known to the organisation, the change impact on the organisation was limited.
